Postpartum doula support
Daytime and evening postpartum support between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12:00am
Postpartum visits may include:
Physical and emotional support of the birthing parent and other family members, including listening to your birth story and any concerns you or your partner may have related to postpartum recovery and adjustment to life with your new baby.
Guidance with newborn care and understanding newborn behavior, including teaching/modeling infant soothing, diapering, feeding, swaddling, etc.
Supporting the infant feeding method of your choice and offering guidance and help with latch challenges, bottle feeding, and/or pumping, to help you feel confident that your infant is well nourished, and to recognizer when more help might be needed.
Care of baby while you (and other family members if applicable) rest, shower, or otherwise care for yourselves.
Light housework with focus on baby supplies, including washing pump or bottle parts.
Recognizing warning signs and offering resources and referrals to additional supports needed and/or to your or your baby’s healthcare provider.
All families should have access to postpartum support and I would be happy to discuss reduced rates and/or pro bono support in cases of financial need. Please consider The Green Bottle Method to determine whether sliding scale might be appropriate for you.
Service fee details:
Daytime support: $45/hour (9am-5pm)
Evening support: $55/hour (ópm-12pm)

*4 hour minimum
*50% retainer required for booking.
Travel fees may apply if over 30 minutes from South Seattle.
I love meeting families before baby arrives to learn about you and your priorities, and to offer guidance in preparation for postpartum recovery and caring for your newbern. For packages of 3 shifts or more purchased betore baby arrives, l include one tree prenatal zoom to discuss your goals and make a plan for support.
